STEPHANIE

After graduating in Textiles in 2000, Stephanie began her design career working as a freelance designer, creating greetings cards for retailers such as Marks & Spencers. Following this, she quickly landed a role as an inhouse designer for leading greeting card publisher Woodmansterne where she spent seven inspirational/enlightening years. It was during this time that Stephanie embarked on inspirational trips to places such as Japan and India to combine her love of travel with her passion for art, colour, pattern and texture that would later feed into her work.

Stephanie’s unique and refreshing style was honoured in 2005 with two prestigeous Henry awards which confirmed her place as one of the Uk’s leading creative talents in the industry.

It was in 2007 however, alongside husband Ashley, that the Stephanie Dyment Design Co. was founded with a view to license the portfolio of designs to new markets. Since its launch at Brand Licensing, the company has been able to build the brand through various licensing opportunities within the homeware, stationery and crafting markets.

Now in 2010, not only are the established collections being continually refreshed but the portfolio has expanded to include two new properties. The adorable childrens character licence Honey & Hugs was launched last year and new for 2010, Dewberry Bloom, a collection of handpainted floral designs.
